Unexpected Interest

Lately I've been into Lauren Faust's works, like MLP: Fim, MWGG, and DC Superhero Girls. But I've been also attached to the wonderful world of WINX CLUB!!


Personally I've been noticing this for a while. Last year I made a design for Milky Way in the show's early seasons' art style.


But now that I've seen the show, I do not like it anymore. The hair and skates are very wrong. The shirt and skirt are at least better.

So this year I designed the Galaxy Girls wearing the fairy attires!







My personal favorite is Stella. She's very narcissistic, and also funny! Kinda reminds me of myself sometimes...

MORAL OF THE STORY: Like whatever you want. Don't be ashamed if you find it too girly, manly, or whatever feels totally abnormal to like. I may be a boy, but that doesn't mean I can't watch Winx Club or My Little Pony.

Mental Health update

So this is a mental health update. I'm STILL very upset over the MWGG incidents I've been through. The thing is, some people might not understand as much, but that was the worst event to ever happen in my life . Ever since my old team posted the stuff there have been MWGG creators treating me differently and even alienating from me. They would block me on social media, not heart or even hide my comments, and other stuff.  I just wanted to kickstart the MWGG fandom so Faust could recognize the project, and I figured making animations would be a fun way to promote her series. Only problem is, I am on the spectrum and thus I'm not the most educated and would at many times mistreat my team without even realizing or taking the time to at least. They were committed to the project and made awesome stuff and I ruined it for them, and now there are people in the fandom who hate me for it and assume I'd do it again. Why did I stop making COREY BARBER is BACK! content? Here's why

 So if you noticed, the COREY BARBER is BACK! account has been extremely inactive. I'll explain why. The main reason is my lack of interest in the provided content due to low ratings, and when I work hard on something that gets no views, what is the point of making it? I only have the finale left for Algotriacontathlon, which is mostly finished except for a story I want to implement as well as the memories and awards portions. Another reason is because the cast I made is incredibly sexist. All of the boys are ordinary stick figures who lack personality while the girls have more various designs and are all stereotypical girly girls, with no room for any tomboys (while also hogging the spotlight for unnecessary reasons, especially Lavender pictured below). I don't want to say I'm embarrassed from doing this, but I still want to owe an apology for it.
